I love KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing). According to Amazon’s own count, I currently have 11 Kindle titles listed. That number represents some of my books that are available in 2 languages, and the most recent one is now for sale in 3 different tongues. KDP is my favorite platform for independent authors. However, I have the following constructive criticisms to make, in the areas of: (1) audio/video device compatibility with multimedia interactive Kindle books; (2) inappropriate first page display in all Kindle books; (3) incorrect language listings; (4) impeded international reviews; (5) thwarted international gifting. Ahead I’ll detail all of them, in the hope that KDP will fix these issues. Read the full article/open letter free in The Writing Cooperative.
